Has the latest update been beta read? Because I came across a bunch of problems with syntax, incorrect word usage, etc as as I was playing it. Just curious - I know it's still part of the demo and probably not the 'final version', but figured I'd ask. :)
If that error comes up when you first introduce yourself to/talk with Mojiz (sp?) in Zarik's route, then yeah, I have that error too. I was just about to report it when I noticed your post.
this game is absolutely amazing, the characters are well written, the story is researched, the plot is crazy ... kudos to the developer of it who do an amazing job!
Guys I literally cant think about anything else since I've played this ???!!!😭😭 this game is sooo good. I'm just waiting for september first to become a patreon but I'm comfused on the tiers. While I am excited about everything else Leagues give us there, I'd like to know if I'll get access to more chapters as of now. If not I'll probably try to wait a bit since my budget is really low but I want to play more chapters soooooo much 😭😭😭
Can anyone answer me that? Which tier do i need to get to get more chapters?
I got 121, but sometimes when I thought my MC was mean he liked it, and vise versa its really cool to see that depending on the character (path you choose) one might like a mean comment and the others don't.
I read this when you released it early on Patreon but I'll comment here too.
I really like the different choices we can make when it comes to how traumatized MC is (and what MC is traumatized by).
I've always been a fan of broody assholes (yikes, what does that say about me?) so, naturally, Ruben appealed to me right away. Looking forward to gradually reading that Ice King thaw out. I think there was already a moment or two where I was like "AHA! You do care, at least a little" although I think the anger/outrage was more about the treatment of MC rather than MC specifically.
One thing I was slightly confused about (although it didn't impact the story in any way) is whether or not the situation with MC's parents is the same on every route. If I'm remembering correctly, on Ruben's route, it seems like MC's basically saying they sold MC off (or didn't care that MC was taken) but in Nouritis' route, it seems more like MC went missing or something and their parents have been distraught ever since. Is that a difference in the relationship/backstory with MC's parents or is it just because in one route (Ruben's, probably), MC is working more off of assumptions and believes their parents abandoned them even if it's not true?
Don't take this as criticism of the story, but as a lesbian player of the game, I personally would've loved for the 'scene' in question with Ozara to have been rape as well. I'm a survivor of rape myself, so I would've been really happy to have that part of my past represented, which makes it upsetting that, that particular route is cut off from that option entirely. Obviously it's down to League to decide, but I just don't understand why that particular route didn't feature rape, compared to the other two when the abuse is entirely optional regardless of what route you go down. Then why can't the female romance route feature it just the same? Don't think too seriously about it though, I only brought it up since I personally didn't think it made sense, so I would obviously not take offence if my request was denied at all. It was just a thought that struck me, when I learned about the differences between the routes in terms of the severity of the abuse. And sorry if my comment is a little incoherent, I'm kinda high at the moment, so it might not all make sense to those with a sober brain.
Pheonix eventually finding ways to get around the issue of touch averseness though! Like "holding hands" by holding a piece of cloth between them and Nour! Asking them to turn around so he can cuddle their back! Hoping to see that sort of thing and if not at least I shall squee in headcanon.
This choice is about what happened to the MC while they were in the tower. It is your choice whether MC was sexually abused or not.
This is the least prominent in Ozara's route (one time touching at most), and the most thematic in Ruben's route. If you choose this option on Nour's and Ruben's routes, then yes, it means MC was raped while they were trapped in the tower.

I'm guessing this has more to do with the Watchers. Raznith and Tyrae don't seem to particularly care what happens to the MC, as long as they're alive, so the guards are more likely to sexually abuse MC with the two Watchers fully aware that it's happening.
Fennore seems to try to appeal more to the MC emotionally, by gaslighting and treating them like a mother child relationship, so she'd probably stop any sort of attempt at rape, or at least dissuade it just to make it look like she's the only one who cares for MC. So, I'd guess that it's less likely that the guards would sexually abuse MC with Fennore around. At least, that's what I'm seeing based on the three Watcher's personalities. Basically, make it look like she's the only person in your world, and it'd be hard to do that if she just let's the guards rape the MC.
A bit, yes. There are two different relationship settings with each RO depending on how you react to them; Rivalmance (enemies to lovers) and Friendmance (friendly relationship). The RO treats you accordingly. The coping mechanism heavily flavours the text, but I don't think it actively changes the course of the story.
Your genetics really came together and said 'let's make this human creative, well-written and the greatest of all interactive authors', and I'm rejoicing that I'm here to witness it all.
The setup already looks amazing, and I'm really excited to play it! But..I came upon issue already in the customization. I had my character as nonbinary with female genitalia but the pronouns remained she/her, and when I tried again with all the other genitalia options it still kept showing that my character used she/her pronouns. I messed around with the cis male option to see if it would change anything and for whatever reason it keeps showing as she/her pronouns? No matter how many times I reload the page or restart and choose nonbinary over and over it doesn't change a thing. I decided to brave on and see if the game will call me by my chosen pronouns or by she/her, but I ran into another error. When deciding whether to see the stats and lasting choice effects and I proceeded to say yes to both, an error window popped up explaining an error occurred and I may continue to play, but some features won't work properly. The error it gave me was 'error: prompt(0) is and will not be supported.
I'm finally able to continue into the game, and unfortunately my character is referred by she/her pronouns. I don't know if there's any more issues in the game thus far, but this is what I've found so far and thought you'd like to be aware of it! I hope this resolves quickly and smoothly for you, and I hope yourself are having a good day! I'll still fiddle around some more with the demo, as I'm very excited to see what this story has in store. :)
Edit with image added: Another issue showed up when I tried to save the game, it showed the same error popup that I ran across earlier, and my attempt to save didn't work :( I added a screenshot of the error popup that came up in the first encounter, hope this helps to visualize and figure out the problem.
The pronouns are handled not through gender. There is a prompt that says "Choose pronouns" you can also go through the settings and change your pronouns there.
For the pop-up, are you using the itch.io app or the website version? Another person had this problem and it was more so due to the app than anything on my or the stories part.
Oh well now I just feel dumb..you're right, the pronouns do work correctly when I actually did click that prompt and change it, I don't know how I completely missed it when I was playing. I'm sorry!!
And I was using the app! But I'll just use the website version from now on. Again, thank you so much for your response and I'm sorry to have bothered you on a mistake that was on my end!
i've loved all your work so far and this is no exception. the demo was intriguing and the writing was, of course, top tier. i might just have to join the patreon....

Broken version, tons of errors running, unable to save the game. It's a shame because the story seemed interesting if a bit convoluted.
Wow

There's this thing in the new characters route and I dunno if it's just me or if it's a buggo 0-o

A very well written and amazing game! Thank you very much ^^

A story of pure beauty. I wish to someday see this as a film.

Anything other than the $1 tier will get you access to the additional chapters. So you can do $3 and get them.
Thank you for even considering to become a supporter! It's much appreciated!
yasss thank you! Your writing is just *chef's kiss*
so what’s the highest score/number you can get of Ruben liking the MC?
I got 121, but sometimes when I thought my MC was mean he liked it, and vise versa its really cool to see that depending on the character (path you choose) one might like a mean comment and the others don't.
I love this. Also I have played all if ur game as of today 😀
NOUR ROUTE ;_;

mate no offense but they probably didnt add that because its triggering to many survivors :/

I loved this, I can't wait for the whole game to be released!
Wait do sexual abuse mean that the mc is being raped?
Simply put, yes.

Oh OK, thank you!
I've played every route three times in the past few days -- It's become my new comfort game.
Wow! Could you say without to mach spoilers) if the route changes with different choices and coping?
A bit, yes. There are two different relationship settings with each RO depending on how you react to them; Rivalmance (enemies to lovers) and Friendmance (friendly relationship). Thank you so much for the reply! That is interesting info. I defenatly replay some paths!)
Amazing as always, I may or may not have shed a tear or two, I had this extreme urge to hug my MC and to comfort them to try and take their pain away.

Holy sh*t, this demo was amazing!
this is really damn good... well done!
Wow, this is so good, it's like I'm in a DnD game or something haha. I love how everything is set out, aesthetic and the music, it's marvellous.
